Travel Vaccinations

The following travel vaccines are available free on the NHS and are available at this Surgery:

cholera

polio (given as a combined diphtheria/tetanus/polio jab)

typhoid

hepatitis A

We do not offer and cannot give advice on any other travel vaccinations or medication relating to travel.

If you wish to make an appointment for Travel vaccinations, you will need to contact the surgery a minimum of 8 weeks before you go. Some vaccines need to be given well in advance to allow you to develop immunity. Some vaccines require doses to be spread over a number of weeks or in some occasions, months.

At the point of contacting us you will be sent an assessment form. You must fill this in and send it back before your appointment. If it is not returned the appointment will be cancelled and offered to someone else.

There is high demand for our travel vaccination appointments and if we cannot offer an appointment at first contact you will be added to the waiting list and we will get in touch when something becomes available. If we are unable to facilitate your appointment in the time-frame required, we may have no alternative but to direct you to another provider.
